This is an illustration for Ratha's Island, the Twitter novelette.

It shows Ratha punching the condor-eagle (based on Argentavis, the huge teratorn) in the chest to free a Named clan cub the bird had captured. The cub isn't just a passive victim; it is trying to bite the bird's leg.

This version is a work-in-progress.

Wow! You're a great artist! Who is the cub in the Condor-eagle's grasp?

I think the action on the drawing is pretty good. Right now the sketch looks a little cartoony, but I guess that is my style.

Thanks! If you'd like to do your own version of it, please feel free. I still think your art is some of the best I've seen. You really know animal anatomy.
By the way, can you post a link to your version of cat-into-humanoid. I'd like to see it, but I can't find it.
